The new standard in pediatric oncology.

A transformative alliance in pediatric cancer care.
Powered by an extraordinary gift from Kinder Foundation—one of the largest ever to a children’s hospital and to the medical center—the new center aims to become the nation’s largest and most comprehensive pediatric cancer center, accelerating drug development, improving access, and generating more cures.
By uniting the strengths of the nation’s top cancer center with the largest pediatric system and cancer program, the center positions Houston as the leading destination for childhood cancer care and research. This joint venture offers unprecedented opportunities to advance treatment and instill hope in families for a future without childhood cancer.
Despite decades of progress, many young patients still need better, tailored treatments. The Kinder Children’s Cancer Center brings together the collective scale and expertise of both institutions.
This incredible joint venture now enables us to:
- Establish a clinical research program with more trials available for children with cancer than any other institution.
- Provide innovative treatment for more patients while speeding clinical development for new therapies.
- Accelerate drug discovery through coordinated research and development programs.
- Expand access to specialized cancer care for more children in need.
- Provide comprehensive survivorship services to help young patients live rich, full lives after cancer and into adulthood.
- Offer all clinical and support services in a comprehensive, child-friendly environment.
- Support education and training to prepare the next generation of pediatric cancer experts.
While Texas Children’s and UT MD Anderson have worked together for years, this new joint venture will expand access to the nation’s largest complement of pediatric oncologists and subspecialty care for children.
